Starting from the Sportlifee rental shop in Molveno, we will ride along the orographic right side of Lake Molveno, whose waters have been awarded the 5 Vele prize by Legambiente, an annual recognition given to the cleanest lakes and seas in Italy. The route, mainly on easy dirt roads and occasionally on a comfortable paved path, winds through the forest with beautiful views of the lake.

After a few kilometers, we’ll continue towards the small natural oasis of Nembia, with its cool, clear lake where sport fishing is allowed. A unique feature is the wooden footbridges that stretch out into the lake, allowing visitors to sit and dip their feet in the cold spring water.

Our itinerary will then take us to the moline di Deggia, a charming rustic hamlet built along the banks of a stream, where you can still see the old houses that once served as mills.

The road then gently climbs towards San Lorenzo in Banale, at the gateway to the Brenta Dolomites, and officially recognized as one of the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.” We will carefully ride through the historic center and arrive at Agriturismo Il Ritorno, where we’ll take a delicious break with a panoramic view over the Giudicarie Valley, at the entrance to the Val d’Ambiez, a key access point to the Brenta Dolomites, in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park and Geopark.
