Paganella Plateau in the heart of Dolomites in the Trentino region. The northeast side of Italy, 30 km from Trento and 50 km from Garda Lake.
Arriving from the South:
Motorway A22 Exit Trento Nord. Continue along the SP235 following indications for Altopiano della Paganella, passing by exits of Lavis and Mezzolombardo (do not exit). Continue through the “Rupe” tunnel to Mezzolombardo and then follow direction Fai della Paganella, Andalo, Molveno, (SP 64).
Arriving from the North:
Motorway A22 Exit S. Michele all Adige /Mezzocorona. Take the SS43, and go through the township of Mezzolombardo. (In Mezzolombardo, near the ORVEA supermarket, do NOT follow the roadsign for “Altopiano della Paganella”. Go straight on out of town and turn left following direction Fai della Paganella, Andalo, Molveno (SP 64).
Arriving from Riva del Garda:
Follow indications for Trento (SS45bis) to the built-up area of Sarche. At the intersection, turn left towards Comano Terme (SS237). Continue on for approximately 8 km to the next intersection, turn right and take the SS421, cross over the bridge and follow indications for Molveno/Andalo. Pass through the towns of Villa Banale, Dorsino, San Lorenzo in Banale until reaching Molveno.
Arriving from Lago di Idro/Tione:
Take the SS237 to Tione di Trento (approximately 44 km). At the roundabout, turn right (continue along the SS237) and follow indications for Terme di Comano. Once reached the built-up area of Ponte Arche, turn left and follow indications for Molveno. Pass through the towns of Villa Banale, Dorsino, San Lorenzo in Banale until reaching Molveno.

The Dolomiti Paganella Bike area includes the villages of Andalo, Cavedago, Fai della Paganella, Molveno and Spormaggiore offering an extension of trails (about 400 km) reaching the surrounding areas southwards to Toblino and Garda Lakes and northwest to Mezzolombardo.
You can easily rech all places thanks to the bike bus service (BiciBus).
Paganella Bike Area project includes also the use of lifts and cable cars in Andalo, Fai della Paganella and Molveno for all riders: all mountain, enduro, downhill/freeride and country.
Downhill and freeride bikers have also dedicated areas (bike parks) at their disposal: in Fai della Paganella, in Molveno (under costruction) and Andalo (under construction) and 2 skills areas with a pump track.
The Paganella Plateau presents an average elevation of 1000 mt above sea level and lies among mountains of rare beauty permitting an unparalleled 360° view of the Trentino region from Paganella Peak (2141 mt.): the Brenta Dolomites were in 2009 officially decreed World Heritage site, the slopes of Piz Galin (2125 mt.) to the West, the Adige valley to the East, Toblino and Garda Lake to the South.
The area is also part of the Adamello Brenta National Park, founded for the protection and conservation of local flora and fauna, among which must be mentioned the Alpine Brown Bear symbol of towns of Paganella Tableland.
During the summer Paganella Area in addition to biking also offers the possibility to relax and enjoy nature doing a lot of other sports from the excursions on the peaks to the swimming in the crystalline water od the Molveno Lake.
