The route of the cycle path in Val Rendena develops from Pinzolo and Carisolo through the valley to Tione, and continues on to Lake Ponte Pià following the course of the river.
Reachable starting from the plateau of the Paganella with the shuttle, first for Comano and then towards Val Rendena. Return with shuttle or through the paths of the Brenta Dolomites Bike.
The cycle path runs along the Val rendena for 28 km, from Pinzolo through Villa Rendena and Tione up to Lake Ponte Pià. The route follows mostly the river Sarca, which flows in the area of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello - Presanella. The route begins in Pinzolo, just below Madonna di Campiglio, along the river in the direction of Strembo, where it crosses the road to the golf course of Bocenago. The landscape is full of meadows and woods. After the location Spiazzo Rendena, the path continues on the eastern side of the valley, passing through Villa Rendena until of Tione di Trento.
From here on, you can continue for 8 km, passing through Preore and Ragoli, up to Lake Ponte Pià. Wanting from Ragoli you can take the old panoramic road (SP 34) up to Stenico. On this road you enjoy a wonderful view over the surrounding area of Comano Treme and Fiavè; in Stenico also there is the famous Castello of Stenico.
